Michael is trained in all aspects of the development process, including site selection, design, construction, legal supervision, financing, leasing, marketing and property management. In 2008, Michael formed canadev, one of the premiere boutique retail experience firms in the country, working with the top brands, tenants and landlords in the country such as Morimoto, RXR Realty, Bobby Flay, Vornado/Charles E. Smith, Cava Mezze and MRP Realty. Michael has developed three food halls including the Mount Vernon Marketplace in Baltimore, MD.
Matt Holman is a Baltimore native, and attended the University of North Carolina. Before joining the canadev team, Matt was involved in the sales process as a Loan Officer at First Home Mortgage in Timonium. Joining the team in summer 2017 as a Project Manager, Matt will be involved in all facets of the development process including organizing, communicating, and monitoring various parts of canadev’s current projects as well as helping in the day to day operations.
After studying creative writing and journalism, Andy built 15 years of experience in restaurants, including owning and operating Maggie’s Farm in Lauraville (2012-2017), where she developed an enthusiasm for business and social media. Andy joined Cana in early 2018 as Marketplace Manager of Cross Street Market, which began a renovation and revitalization project in March 2018. Andy has also worked as an Executive Assistant and freelance writer.
Nick’s success in brokerage for over 15 years is attributed to his responsiveness and superior marketing strategies. Nick’s expertise in restaurant management, restaurant consulting, title representation, tenant representation, landlord representation, retail and development ensures that his clients goals are met. A graduate of St. Paul’s and McDaniel College, Nick works on development in Maryland (projects including Mt. Vernon Marketplace, Blue Moon, Iron Rooster, Cava, Pinch, and Brown Rice), as well as, on a National level.
Lauren Bailey is experienced in program and project development with a demonstrated history of working in the marketing and advertising industry. Skilled in sales, account management, media planning, and leadership, she recently joined the canadev team summer of 2017. She is a strong community and social services professional with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) focused in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from University of South Carolina-Columbia.
Meggan O’Rourke hails from Rhode Island and attended Fordham University and George Mason University. Following graduation, she moved to Washington D.C. where she ran a successful hospitality group for 10 years. With exceptional communication and negotiation skills honed through years of marketing, hospitality, project and client management, she joined canadev, working with tenants and landlords to assist them in meeting their development needs. Meggan is committed to helping her clients achieve their goals.
Katie Zulty is a Baltimore native who graduated from Virginia Tech. Prior to joining canadev, she obtained her real estate license and became a sales manager for a residential real estate team. She joined our team Winter of 2017 as our operations manager and has since transitioned in to a leasing role. She has a broad knowledge of Baltimore and its surrounding areas and is excited to be working on our Cross Street Market & Hollins Market projects.
Kelly Duffy grew up in New Jersey before making Philadelphia her adopted city and attending Temple University where she graduated with a master’s degree. With a love for creating experiences for people, Kelly fell into the event planning world. Joining the canadev team in spring of 2018, Kelly took on the role of Marketplace Manager for The Bourse food hall where she is able to combine her love for events, hospitality, and tourism in the City of Brotherly Love.
