From leasing services and site analysis, to retail merchandising and mixed-use development, our team covers all aspects of successful placemaking.
Michael is trained in all aspects of the development process, including site selection, design, construction, legal supervision, financing, leasing, marketing and property management. In 2008, Michael formed canadev, one of the premiere boutique retail experience firms in the country, working with the top brands, tenants and landlords in the country such as Morimoto, RXR Realty, Bobby Flay, Vornado/Charles E. Smith, Cava Mezze and MRP Realty. Michael has developed three food halls including the Mount Vernon Marketplace in Baltimore, MD.
Kelly Duffy grew up in New Jersey before making Philadelphia her adopted home. She graduated from Temple University with a Master’s of Tourism & Hospitality Management. With a love for creating experiences for people, Kelly fell into the event planning world. In Spring 2018, Kelly joined CANAdev as Marketplace Manager at The Bourse . As Regional Manager, Kelly now oversees all Marketplace Managers.
Andy built 15 years of experience in restaurants, including owning and operating Maggie’s Farm (2012-2017), where she developed an enthusiasm for business, social media and marketing. Andy joined CANAdev in early 2018 as Marketplace Manager of Cross Street Market, and now supports the public market’s Marketing & Events. Additionally, she manages the CANAdev brand.
Emil is a videographer and editor, and FAA licensed remote pilot originally from Romania. Based in Annapolis, Emil joined CANAdev in 2019. Emil combines his love for travel and film, telling stories and sharing the perspectives of people through video and short documentaries. As Digital Producer, Emil brings his knowledge, creative eye and expertise to each project.
RETAIL LEASING / FOOD HALL DEVELOPMENT
Nick’s expertise in restaurant management, restaurant consulting, title representation, tenant representation, landlord representation, retail and development ensures that his clients goals are met. A graduate of St. Paul’s and McDaniel College, Nick leads CANA’s leasing team.
Katie Zulty is a Baltimore native who graduated from Virginia Tech. Prior to joining CANAdev, she obtained her real estate license and worked as a sales manager for a residential real estate team. She joined CANA in 2017 as Operations Manager and has since transitioned into a leasing role.
Matt Holman is a Baltimore native, and attended the University of North Carolina. Before joining the CANAdev team, Matt was involved in the sales process as a Loan Officer at First Home Mortgage in Timonium. Joining the team in 2017 as Project Manager, Matt is involved in all facets of the development process, including organizing, communicating, and monitoring various parts of multiple projects.
Alison is experienced in corporate restaurant development and real estate asset management. Her main focus is coordinating all aspects of a project’s life cycle, from pre-development to stabilization. Alison graduated from Marymount Manhattan with a degree in Business Management and concentration in Finance and Investments. When she’s not on the move or at work, you can find her tasting anything and everything new the food & beverage world has to offer.
After starting her career in retail visual merchandising in Texas, Erin decided to merge her passion for gathering friends over great meals with her understanding of designing and developing consumer experiences. She moved to Washington D.C. in 2015 and became a development project manager with a local restaurant group, specializing in sustainable hospitality. Always looking for a new professional challenge, she joined the CANAdev team in 2019.
Candice joined CANAdev in April 2019 as Marketplace Manager for Cross Street Market. With a background in hospitality and commercial development and construction, she brings nearly a decade of relevant experience to the team. Candice has spearheaded marketing and events for exciting projects across the country and is proud to call Baltimore home.
Lauren began her career in hospitality in Saratoga Springs, New York, and made Boston her home in 2010. Before joining CANAdev as the Marketplace Manager of High Street Place, she helped successfully launch a number of Boston-based start-ups in roles that highlighted her experience in marketing & events project management. Colleagues and friends refer to Lauren as a human Zagat, as she is a go-to resource for dining recommendations in Boston and dozens of other cities. Lauren is looking to reshape Boston’s dining experience and build community.
EVENTS & MARKETING MANAGER
Hannah grew up with views of Philadelphia’s cityscape from her small town in New Jersey. A recent graduate from Rowan University, with a BA in Advertising and BS in Marketing, she dreamed of taking her passion and creativity across the Delaware River into Philadelphia. She began that journey in September 2018 as the Events & Marketing intern at The Bourse. Little did she know, she would be working in the same building her grandfather had shined shoes during the Great Depression. Today, Hannah enjoys promoting this historic building to locals and tourists alike as Events and Marketing Coordinator.
Victoria joined CANAdev in early 2020 as the Marketplace Manager of the Bourse. She has more than a decade of experience in the hospitality industry. With a focus in fine dining, she has managed many James Beard-nominated restaurants in various cities, including Philadelphia, Washington D.C., and Charleston. With a background in restaurant operations and events, along with a passion for hospitality, Victoria is committed to being a resource for our vendors and connecting to the local community. When she is not at The Bourse, you can find her roaming the streets of Philadelphia with her Great Dane, Stella!
